the artisan imperfection series

original imperfection band, gone couture. hand stitching replaces original rivet.  band is then hand stamped with the signature {le} logo.   of the treasure that's been around the block. the leather is then treated with a coat of UV filtering wax, creating a heartier, 'ranch hand reins' look and feel. hand made double ring closure. adult. 24.5" total length.

why i love this piece:

because anyone that knows me, knows i can never leave it alone.  the piece is never quite complete. it can always be just a little bit better.  well, at least the first 4 or 5 samples.  this series came as an improvement on our original brown band.  it's an upgrade in my progression of design.  perhaps i should have named it Imperfection II, Round 2, The Sequel? any way you label it, the design is one i love. the feel and smell of the leather, the slight quality sheen and depth the wax adds is like starch on freshly pressed pants.  hand stitching in a contrast shade is probably because i never really like things to match.   the never-fully-dressed-without-a-spash-of-turquoise, makes it just a little more "Lindsey".  a smudge here, and a brush swipe there, creates an original thumbprint of artisan's time.  we've added additional leather choices including an awesome rustic expresso buffalo that feels almost pillow-esque. if i added colors, i had to add lengths as well. so...we have our first SKINNY BELT! check her out here. she's fab.
